would pose that a God exists outside this Universe ( perhaps at the end of some Black Hole into which and from which all matter passes , perhaps in an endless cycle ) and is not subject to the laws of the universe that that God created ex nihilo . Being a first cause of everything created - for some reason that first cause has no need of explanation . The Universe is speculated to expand forever(or collapse ) which first possibility would not leave much room for those extra dimensions posed and in which it is speculated a prima causae God resides . It could be equally speculated that a creator God, let alone an anthropomorphological God , without the comfort and occupation of creating universes ,in human terms would have a fair bit of spare time for other things . But what conceivably could they involve ? What qualitative assessment could be made of those activities ?
These are but hypothetical questions . Not attempted explanations by me . I don`t underestimate the power and value of myth but I would rely on religionists for true explanation . Can I suggest you read Einstein`s views on religion . His humble thoughts find his own religiosity not in the Jewish faith of his parents but in humility confronting a Universe of immense wonder and change . No mysticism , no immortality of the individual , no personal God . A universe where "ethics is an exclusively human concern with no supernatural authority behind it .". and " what I see in nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of humility. This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism ".
Despite the lack of Biblical promises and threats why do Einstein`s words have , and so ironically , such powerful resonance deep within our intuitive responses ?
