Well if god truly is a separate entity altogether, is that to say that it is outside a fundamental principle of our universe which is causality? Stating god is our responsible for our origin doesn't make sense as it does not solve the problem of the universe's creation, because in that case what created god? God as an origin, a spiritual being really poses even a greater metaphysical question as how do you define what god is? Is it not merely the outpouring of mankind's egocentricism and feeling that there is importance if not purpose to our existence, i.e. is god subconsciousoly man's answer to an abusrdity that defines mankind's existence? Surely if we were of god's design, purpose would be implied for what would the point be of our very creation? And so god is a figment of man's subconscious desire for purpose and a rationalization for existence.
