Then God said “let the earth bring forth the living creature, each according (after) to its own kind” This scripture on the first page of the Holy Bible indicates how life came about.
If it is taken literally - actual animated beings were caused to come forward into view from out of any of certain metallic oxides by a process in a manner depending on which of certain alternatives is true to its possession of type.
What this says to me is that metal oxides could mutate genetic structure but only as determined in own environment and what is necessary. Or alternatively it simply means metal oxides form the basic structure in all biology. Or again the presence of oxide is problematic in cellular structure and can bring mutation.

The word “according” is used in the Revised Authorized Version of the Bible. Other versions use “after” The strong Hebrew and Greek dictionary reference indicates the word is rendered by translation from a root Hebrew but I would have to do some more research.
