Thank you for that . You have clearly gone to a lot of trouble and given an original and most interesting angle to the topic. I too believe in transformative forces at play introducing change . Any system (and I view the universe as a system as well as biological complexity per se) lives/exists at the edge of it`s tolerances so change/evolution is inevitable . The question is how fundamental is human intervention in bringing about any "planned " change or destiny . Are we but a conduit as you suggest for the strategies of a greater mind that you might call God . Or are we intended as beneficiaries in that future of change ? Whether individually, taking us outside time, or collectively as a continuum where the identity of the individual is lost . You linger on the importance that purity plays as to the connectivity factor so that the conduit itself does not corrupt in any way the forces that flow through it . As to our connection to nature and Greater Mind and our ultimate significance - I have problems when I consider Hurricane Katrina and it`s threatening successor preparing to enter the Gulf of Mexico . We sense that even global catastrophe has an element of nature`s predator / prey dynamic which we would expect at the biological level but not beyond that . It seems so indiscriminate , There is no hint of morality about where and upon whom such events will be unleashed . In fact it is the poor and marginalised ( should I say the innocent) who so often seem to bear the brunt . If I was more imaginative I might question geographically at this time in world history forgetting the phenomenon of Global Warming - These two hurricanes seem to have a mind of their own . Having found their way around the Florida promonitory to weave around into the Gulf of Mexico ,the latter , poising before striking President George Bush`s heartland perhaps his own 1700 acre ranch . But I am not so imaginative or melodramtic at least not in this sense . Otherwise I would speculate further -whether there was some correlation to the havoc and hellhole situation that the Coalition of the Willing , headed by President George Bush decision-making have wreaked upon Iraq and particularly Baghdad to change the course of history by their bilateral and preempive decision to invade that country as though they pursued some divine mission or appointment.
