I read the article by Mark Lilla, it is now archived and needs a different link.
To me all Christianity is on a false path and if the Holy Bible was understood correctly it would have been destroyed long ago. The reason it exists at all is because as an involved read it takes good intellect and determination to understand and therefore lends itself to interpretation.
I realize the statement being made could be seen as a bit arrogant.
I had a spontaneous supernatural experience of a different mind that left me with no doubt as to the existence and immediate presence of God the Eternal Father.
This other mind showed a lot of information in something like 5 seconds. Mind, subconscious interaction between humans, technology, immortality. I saw the difference between my own human mind and the mind of an immortal. I immediately realized the Holy Bible must be true and this is what the Christians must be on about. The mind I was shown was the tested mind that Jesus Christ thought from and is perfect. I was energized, healed and given incredible insight. I studied from my wife’s pocket sized bible until it began to fall apart.
Rather than give a life story which is irrelevant I can only say as I looked into modern Christianity I realized a western culture is too comfortable. It is better for me to relate conclusions rather than to go into reasons or being apologetic.
The whole situation as it exists is written and expressed well by people such as Mark Lilla. I think most thinking people and those that have worked in a business would notice similarities in the psychology behind behavior whether in the secular or religious arena. To me it all comes under the banner of human endeavor and behavior.
I my self am not perfect at the moment and I by myself can never be. But I know where perfection is, it is possible to achieve, but my own imperfection would only be hidden.
I have fallen into a trap of talking about an historical experience but now hesitate to go the extra required distance to demonstrate. It is easy to be critical in any thing but a little harder to produce the alternative. But then to demonstrate such a gift of God’s power to an unbelieving world would mean nothing to the world.
I went through a long period of inventing energy related, practical, technology improvements. There is no end to inventions; there is always something else to do. All life seems to me as an endless stream of created distraction to avoid what needs to be done. I realize cheap energy would mean nothing but only hasten human demise.
The human idea of spirituality is inadequate and leads to all manner of groups and ideas, lots of talking but no dealing with the cause.
The ideas placed in my mind are totally possible and explain everything for me.
Thinking in terms of a technology as I was shown demonstrates how impossible the situation involving human behavior is. Imagine a pure life giving energy that is generated in the planetary forces that affects all biology, crystal structure and the elements, placing every thing in common resonance. The completed planet then inhibits the incoming pure life force energy and demonstrates a certain deviation in the predatory and destructive results. Humans have produced behaviors and a mentality that reflect a connection to primary energy and project from out of themselves an impure pattern. The powerful, immediate, pure energy is corrupted through our selves and this brings about the end result as is seen in ultimate death for us and is inhibited and shows as oxidizing and decay on the planet. Time is a slowing down of the eventual appearing of the end result giving opportunity to take care, draw back and change.
I see science building a machine enhancing this force. It is probably already done. Creating the correct pattern or geometry of forces will speed up or make the end result appear quicker. Because humans are powerful in their own right and are so mentally connected to impurity as being natural they will not be able to use the ultimate technology.
A changed environment would cause receptive individuals through history to appear as if from nowhere into the effect.
Time or distance will have no boundary for a mind that holds nothing that is incorrect.
The spiritual journey to receive the perfect mind is clearly written in the Holy Bible. Activating the change is unsettling because own mind has to be given up and it is impossible to imagine what that is like. The conditions for change have to be set up and then you can loose your mind, which is human mind, to find the perfect mind and nature of Jesus Christ.
It is like crucifying all aspects in the self and in faith walking from safety across the water to Jesus’ nature and the mind he thought from and hoping he will catch you. An inner journey of transformation takes place and presents nothing sinister or frightening when complete. The normal human mentality is realized to be in bondage to all kinds of deviations and explains all behavior. The aspects in own self that we all learn to live with and even enjoy do not need to be there. There is a huge mental tussle though because they are powerfully held in place by human bonding as all are affected by each other. A situation occurs in religion where a static condition produces nothing more than a comfortable social event where everyone is bonded in a human way, reinforcing human nature and making no transformation.
